“A new article on advancing cancer care for adolescents and young adults (AYA) and presenting the European Network of Expertise has been published in ESMO Open through the JANE-2- EU Joint Action on Networks of Expertise on Cancer.
The publication highlights the importance of developing cancer care that responds to the specific needs of Adolescents and Young adults (AYA), strengthening collaboration between paediatric and adult oncology, and addressing the clinical, psychosocial and long-term needs of young people with cancer.
These priorities align with the work we are doing across Youth Cancer Europe and Youth Cancer Network (YARN) to strengthen the meaningful involvement of young people with cancer in research and healthcare, and to make sure that their voices and lived experiences are embedded in and help shape the services and decisions that affect them.”
