Yale Cancer Center shared on LinkedIn:
“Last month, 12 local high school students participated in a week-long workshop offered through Yale Pathways to Science Summer Scholars, a program that introduces local students to STEM through immersive, hands-on learning experiences.
Through hands-on activities, a simulated biopsy and tumor board, and an interactive Cancer Jeopardy competition, students developed foundational laboratory skills while exploring breast cancer biology, molecular diagnostics, and personalized medicine.
The week concluded with a career panel featuring members of the instructional team who shared their journeys into science and medicine, giving students a firsthand look at the many pathways to careers in biomedical research and healthcare.”
