“The 3rd World Bladder Cancer Patient Forum was a milestone event for our international community. This year, we met in Madrid, Spain, for a day full of discussions on working together to better the lives of people affected by bladder cancer. We focused on understanding the supportive and complementary needs of bladder cancer patients.

Building upon the recently published findings of the Bladder Cancer Patient & Carer Survey, we explored practical ways to address the unmet needs in real-world practice. We had a wonderful multi-stakeholder panel, which was moderated by our President, Dr Lydia Makaroff and featured conversations with speakers bringing very unique personal and professional experiences.

The Forum allowed for the sharing of best practices, patient experiences and challenges, exploring opportunities for improvement together and fostering our close-knit community of bladder cancer patient advocates. ”
