Based in Lebanon, Dr. Farah is a Professor of General Paediatrics and Paediatric Hematology/Oncology at the Lebanese American University, and the Founder and President of CHANCE Association (Lebanon) and CHANCE International (Geneva). A 2026 Fulbright Scholar, she is currently at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and Harvard, working on familial cancer genes and cancer predisposition.
The SPAWG supports the SIOP Asia Scientific Committee in shaping the scientific programme of the SIOP Asia Congress. We are excited to welcome Dr. Farah’s expertise and leadership as she helps advance paediatric oncology across the region.”
Call for Nominations: SIOP Asia Scientific Programme Advisory Working Group (SPAWG)
The SPAWG supports the SIOP Asia Scientific Committee (SC) in developing the scientific programme of the Annual SIOP Asia Congress. Working under the coordination and oversight of the SC, WG members read, review, and score submitted abstracts within their area(s) of expertise, and their scores help the SC select abstracts for oral and poster presentation. Members also suggest topics for Keynote Lectures, Symposia, and Meet-the-Expert Sessions, and advise the SC on emerging scientific themes and priorities in their field.
