SIOG – International Society of Geriatric Oncology shared on LinkedIn:
“Every extra hospital visit a trial or treatment pathway requires costs an older adult with cancer travel, time and energy. It often costs a caregiver the same.
The second part of the SPARC Roundtable 2026 looks at community-based care models and pragmatic, point-of-care trial designs that bring care and evidence generation closer to where patients live.
The aim is to leave with care pathways and low-burden trial models that can be piloted through SPARC collaborations.
This is the third SPARC Roundtable. Montreal looked at patient-centred care and advocacy, and Ghent at partnering with older adults in research design. Both discussions are available to watch here.
- Thursday 5 November, 13:00 to 15:00 CET
Watch online, free of charge.”
