Naoto Ueno, Director of the University of Hawaii Cancer Center, shared on LinkedIn:
”The J-HOPE Program’s Creating and Leading Innovative Clinical Science Workshop concluded with another major success.
Dr. Narikazu Boku and I started this program 12 years ago with the goal of developing the next generation of clinical investigators in Japan. Although the program’s name has evolved over the years, its mission has remained the same.
Every participant developed a high-quality letter of intent for a Phase I clinical study. It was exciting to see how much they continued to improve throughout the workshop. The future of oncology drug development in Japan is bright.
I am deeply grateful to our outstanding faculty: Drs. Kogawa, Takeda, Imamura, Nagashima, Kenmotsu, Kitano, and Lee. Their dedication, mentorship, and commitment to developing future clinical investigators made this workshop possible.”
