“The first-ever WHO GU Editorial Board Meeting hosted in Beijing at Peking Union Medical College (PUMC) was a tremendous success, bringing together leading experts from around the world to help shape the future of genitourinary tumor classification.

Big congratulations and heartfelt thanks to our wonderful local organizer, Professor Liang Zhiyong, and the entire PUMC team for their outstanding organization, incredibly warm hospitality, and friendship. They made this landmark meeting truly memorable and unforgettable.

We now look forward with great excitement to the WHO Classification of Urinary and Male Genital Tumours, 6th Edition (WHO URO6), with further refinement and standardization of tumor classification, incorporation of important scientific advances, and recognition of many new tumor entities that our group has contributed.

A remarkable meeting, wonderful colleagues, and an exciting new chapter for GU Pathology worldwide. Grateful and honored to be part of this historic moment!”
