Last September, the Last Mile Series brought together leading voices from across oncology, personalised medicine, public health and patient advocacy to tackle one of the most persistent challenges in healthcare: how do we move from innovation to real-world patient benefit? The conversation doesn’t stop there.
This September, the International Alliance for Personalised Medicine is bringing the discussion back to New York, with two events during UN General Assembly High-Level Week, on 23 and 24 September 2026.
And if you missed last year’s discussions, now is a good time to catch up.
Revisit the Last Mile conversations through our interview series, featuring voices including Vivek Subbiah, Frédéric Destrebecq, Ishwaria Subbiah, Suzanne L Dickson, Zainab Shinkafi-Bagudu, Michele Mestrinaro, Christa Studzinski, Prof. Alfred K. These conversations explored the challenges standing between scientific progress and patient access, from prevention, screening and early detection to clinical research, diagnostics, treatment and implementation.
