Cancer Institute NSW shared on LinkedIn:
”Decentralised clinical trials bring aspects of clinical trials closer to people, reducing the need to travel to a major trial site.
The new Framework for Decentralising Clinical Trials in NSW & ACT gives clinical teams practical guidance to help decide when decentralised approaches are appropriate and how to plan and deliver them safely and consistently.
Developed by Cancer Institute NSW in partnership with the Office of Health and Medical Research Rural Regional & Remote Clinical Trials Enabling Program, the Framework was shaped by expertise from across the sector and people impacted by cancer.
The Framework for Decentralising Clinical Trials in NSW & ACT was supported by funding from the Australian Government under the Medical Research Future Fund (MRFF).”
