Douglas Flora: Great night at our first-ever “Fork Cancer” Cincinnati event

Douglas Flora recently shared a post on LinkedIn:

“Great night, supporting the American Cancer Society at our first-ever ‘Fork Cancer’ Cincinnati event. My worlds collided, seeing a crowd of almost 300 friends, family, community members, and sponsors come together to raise money for a cause we all care about ending cancer as we know it, for everyone.

Well done to Hannah Wallace, Kasey Jo Trbovich, Lenora Oeters, and the rest of the dedicated ACS teams/organizing committee members. Special thanks to our tastemakers, who helped us raise nearly $140,000!

To the St. Elizabeth Healthcare team, including Jody Wallace, Nikol Ellison, Maggie Biesinger, and so many partners, associates, and event volunteers: a sincere thank you.

The personal highlight: watching my brother Daniel Flora, and his friends’ fantastic band, Sudo Nano, light up the night while I got to sit back and watch so many friends, family, and even a few of my longtime patients out there, tearing up the dance floor on a beautiful night.

We appreciate all of our sponsors’ support, especially our presenting sponsor, Bristol Myers Squibb, and all the great area restaurants that came out to share good fellowship and great food.

I am already looking forward to next year’s event!”
