Rob Muller: My first time at ASCO
Rob Muller, Chief Business Transformation Officer at the American Cancer Society, recently shared a post by the American Cancer Society on LinkedIn, adding:
“My first time at ASCO.
I’ve attended a number of panel discussions, and the theme/challenge that resonated most with me from those researching, diagnosing, and treating cancer is the fragmentation and quality of the vast amount of cancer-related data that if integrated would enable far more efficient and effective decision making at each point in the cancer continuum.
The solve is in focused leadership. This collaboration is a big step in that direction.”
Quoting the American Cancer Society’s post:
“Announcing our expanded collaboration with American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) to help patients better find cancer information online, creating one of the largest and most comprehensive online resources available for free to the public on cancer.org.”
