Emad Shash: Hosting a delegation from Hayat Kareema Foundation at The National Alliance for Civil Development Work

“Under the umbrella of the National Alliance for Civil Development Work, the Breast Cancer Hospital- National Cancer Institute, Cairo University, had the honor of hosting a distinguished delegation from Hayat Kareema Foundation in a visit that reflects fruitful cooperation between national institutions to support healthcare and provide the best services for breast cancer patients.
Participants in the visit included:
- Dr. Fatma El-Sayed Ahmed: National figure and member of the Board of Trustees of the National Alliance for Civil Development Work.
- Dr. Ohoud Wafi: Member of the Board of Trustees of Hayat Kareema Foundation.
- Dr. Marwa Fakhry: Executive Director of Hayat Kareema Foundation.
- Dr. Esraa Magdy: Mental health and rehabilitation officer.
- Dr. Mona Youssef: Medical convoys officer.
The visit aimed to integrate efforts to provide distinguished healthcare services to the community.
The delegation toured the hospital, learning about its advanced capabilities in diagnosing and treating breast cancer, as well as the supportive programs that include psychological and social support for patients.
A meeting was held with the medical and administrative teams to exchange ideas and explore opportunities to enhance healthcare services in line with the objectives of the National Alliance.
One of the most touching moments of the visit was the human interaction between the Hayat Kareema delegation and the patients during chemotherapy sessions.
The delegation demonstrated great empathy and support, which helped uplift the patients’ spirits.
Interactive activities also brought joy and positivity, highlighting the importance of psychological support as an integral part of the treatment journey.
This visit underscores the pivotal role of the National Alliance for Civil Development Work in unifying national efforts to achieve a qualitative leap in healthcare services.
It also reaffirms the commitment of the Hayat Kareema Foundation to support initiatives that enhance the quality of life for citizens.
