“We’re excited to announce the kickoff of the National Football League (NFL)’s Crucial Catch initiative in partnership with the American Cancer Society. This initiative is a touchdown for early detection and risk reduction, using our nations’ love of football to raise awareness and save lives.
The NFL kicked off Crucial Catch for this season by tackling the issue head-on with their employees, sharing valuable resources on the importance of cancer screening and prevention.
Here’s what makes Crucial Catch a game-changer:
Raising Awareness: Since 2009, the campaign has raised over $30 million to fund the ACS’s critical mission.
Early Detection Saves Lives: Crucial Catch highlights the importance of early detection for multiple types of cancer.
Empowering Communities: Funds raised support the ACS’s CHANGE grant program, providing vital resources to underserved communities.
Driving Action: Visit The Defender, presented by Sleep Number Corporation in partnership with the NFL.
