“Youth Cancer Europe is pleased to invite you to the EU Mission Cancer – Prevention and Early Detection (Screening) Cluster Open Event, taking place on 26 November 2026.
For young people affected by cancer, the importance of early detection is not an abstract concept. We know how much a timely diagnosis can change the course of someone’s life.
Cancer prevention and early detection must be priorities across Europe. This means investing in research and innovation, improving access to screening, and addressing the inequalities that leave too many people without timely diagnosis.
As a partner in Oncoscreen, Youth Cancer Europe strongly supports efforts to make cancer screening more accurate, accessible and equitable. We believe that the perspectives of people with lived experience of cancer must help shape these efforts.
Join the discussion online or in person in Liège, Belgium, on 26 November.
