Nicola Cirillo, Full Professor at University of Foggia, Head of Research at CoTreat, Honorary Professor at University of Jordan, shared on LinkedIn:
“The Hyaluronan/CD44 Axis: A Double-Edged Sword in Cancer.
Great to see that this work is making an impact and is on its way to becoming a ‘classic’ in the field.
Reaching 100 citations in less than three years is certainly encouraging, but even more rewarding is seeing how it has informed our subsequent research: it has provided the scientific foundation for investigating the safety of hyaluronic acid use to prevent mucositis in patients undergoing cancer treatment.
The next chapter is already underway.”
