“New Insights into CXorf67 in Cancer
CXorf67 is a protein involved in regulating gene activity and repairing damaged DNA. Abnormally high levels have been identified in several cancers, including certain brain, uterine, lung and skin cancers.
Researchers believe that CXorf67 may contribute to cancer development by disrupting normal gene regulation and DNA-repair processes. These findings suggest that it could potentially serve as a cancer biomarker or treatment target.
However, more research is needed to fully understand its role in different cancers and determine whether therapies targeting CXorf67 could benefit patients.
