“A very active weekend at Basics in Breast Cancer Surgery, held at Imperial College London.
26 early – career oncology surgeons combined theory with practice, presenting summaries of online lectures and taking part in hands – on training in sentinel node biopsy, axillary dissection and removal of non – palpable lesions.
The course also addressed the important communication skills required in breast cancer care through an interactive workshop on communicating complex issues in breast cancer.”
