“The two faces of FOXA1 mutations in prostate cancers.

Congrats to Justin Hwang for this revised classification of FOXA1 alteration in prostate cancers.

Different FOXA1 classes have different biologic behaviors, clinical outcomes and racial clustering, especially Class 1B and 2.”

“Structurally-oriented classification of FOXA1 alterations identifies prostate cancers with opposing clinical outcomes and distinct molecular and immunologic subtypes”
