“I’m very happy to share our paper in The Lancet reporting the results of the MATRix/IELSG43 randomized phase 3 trial in primary CNS lymphoma.
This study represents many years of collaboration across centers and countries to answer an important clinical question: what is the optimal consolidation strategy after MATRix induction?
Our findings provide robust evidence supporting high-dose chemotherapy followed by autologous stem-cell transplantation for eligible patients and will hopefully help inform treatment decisions for patients with primary CNS lymphoma.
