Eduard-Alexandru Bonci, Breast Surgical Oncologist, Clinical Research Fellow at Champalimaud Foundation, shared on LinkedIn:
”Have you seen our latest EUSOMA paper?
I am especially proud of this work because it seeks to address one of the most important challenges in oncology: unequal access to high-quality cancer care.
This issue also reflects one of my strongest and most deeply held beliefs: patients should not have to struggle to find the cancer care they need.
As doctors, hospitals, and healthcare systems, we share a responsibility to reduce these barriers and bring the best possible care closer to every patient, wherever they live.
