Cesar Perez: New LiGeR-HN1 Results Mark a Milestone in Head and Neck Cancer Treatment

Cesar Perez, Director of Drug Development at Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute, shared on LinkedIn:

“Fantastic news for the head and neck cancer community – and especially for our patients and their families!

In the Phase 3 LiGeR-HN1 trial, petosemtamab plus pembrolizumab reduced the risk of death by 50% versus pembrolizumab alone in first-line PD-L1-positive recurrent or metastatic head and neck cancer.

This is an exciting milestone and a meaningful step toward a potential new treatment option for our patients.

We are incredibly proud to have been part of the development of this promising therapy. Thank you to the patients and families who participated, the investigators and research teams, and Genmab for their commitment to advancing care.

Look forward to seeing the full results and the next steps for Peto.”
