Carolyn Taylor, Founder and Executive Director at Global Focus on Cancer, shared on LinkedIn:
” Very pleased to share our newly published paper in Psycho-Oncology: ‘Digital Support for Cancer Caregivers in Latin America: Identifying Needs and Co-Designing a Culturally Adapted Resource.’
This work brought together caregivers, healthcare professionals, researchers, and policymakers across Latin America to identify caregiver needs and co-design a culturally responsive and adaptable resource. One of the important findings was the need to combine accessible digital information with practical guidance, peer connection, and opportunities for human support, rather than viewing digital resources as a replacement for them.
My role in this work was a very small one, but I was honored to contribute and to support my colleagues in presenting the work as an oral rapid-fire abstract at the World Cancer Congress in Hong Kong.
