“This week, professionals from SJD Barcelona Children’s Hospital participated in the International Society of Paediatric Oncology – SIOP Congress, one of the leading global forums for paediatric cancer care and research.
Among the SJD professionals contributing to this year’s programme were Lucas Krauel, a leading paediatric surgical oncologist, and Pamela Lustig, who presented the world first High-Fidelity 3D Hybrid Simulators for Training in Complex Pediatric Oncologic Surgery.
Guillermo Chantada, paediatric oncologist and Director of the Hospital’s International Outreach Program, presented the expansion of the TELEO programme to SIOP Africa and Papua New Guinea, helping strengthen continuous professional education in paediatric oncology worldwide.
