“Today, Ataraxis is announcing a new generation of AI models that learn to predict treatment response and patient outcomes and generalize zero-shot from breast cancer to multiple solid tumors. We are releasing three major research papers:
1. A landmark study describing our causal AI breakthroughs and their application to predicting chemotherapy benefit and patient outcomes, first in breast cancer (11,135 patients across 17 cohorts), followed by zero-shot generalization in 6,692 patients across 16 cancer types. For further reading.
2. Clinical validation in TAILORx Phase III trial, providing the highest level of clinical evidence and confirming statistically significant chemotherapy benefit predictions. Read more detailed information.
3. Clinical validation in UNIRAD Phase III trial, showing that Ataraxis predicts outcomes and treatment benefit in patients with high-risk breast cancer, including benefit from novel therapies such as everolimus. Additional resources.
These results are based on our recent breakthroughs in causal artificial intelligence methods, which learn to simulate patient outcomes under counterfactual scenarios using longitudinal data.
We have incorporated these methods into our AI world model, Ataraxis Tau. Tau will serve as the foundation for our future tools to help physicians build fully personalized treatment plans across oncology.
