Asma Djabi։ Study Examines Association Between Immuno-Metabolic Score and Pathological Complete Response in TNBC

Asma Djabi, Assistant Professor at Department of Medical Oncology, Rouiba, shared on LinkedIn:

“Proud to share our research at ESMO 2026!

I am pleased to share our research entitled:
‘An Immuno-Metabolic Score (NLR + Vitamin D) Is Associated with Pathological Complete Response in Immune-Cold TNBC Treated with Neoadjuvant Pembrolizumab: A Prospective Interim Analysis.’

This study explores the potential of accessible biomarkers to predict treatment response in triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC).

In low- and middle-income countries, identifying affordable and accessible biomarkers is particularly important in the pursuit of more personalized cancer care adapted to local resources.

My sincere gratitude to Prof. Hassen Mahfouf for his guidance and support, Prof. Said Belhadef for his valuable mentorship and encouragement, and Prof. Arezki Arab for the collaboration on this work.

I also extend my thanks to the entire Medical Oncology team at Rouiba Hospital, Algeria.

Proud to contribute to clinical research from Algeria and to see our work shared with the international oncology community.”
