Ankit Kansagra: Phase 3 Readout From MonumenTAL-6

Ankit Kansagra, Associate Vice President Oncology Integration and Community Alliance at Tampa General Hospital, shared on X:

Phase 3 readout from MonumenTAL-6 – and the effect size here is hard to ignore.

MonumenTAL-6 / Phase 3 / relapsed/refractory myeloma, 1–4 prior lines (anti-CD38– and len–exposed) – patient population with true unmet need in clinic. Two off-the-shelf bispecifics, together, moved earlier in the disease course: TECVAYLI (teclistamab, anti-BCMA) + TALVEY (talquetamab, anti-GPRC5D) PFS HR 0.11 → 89% reduction in risk of progression or death.

OS HR 0.38 → 62% reduction in risk of death vs investigator’s choice (EPd / PVd) The TALVEY + pomalidomide arm also beat standard of care (PFS HR 0.27).

An HR of 0.11 in a randomized Phase 3 isn’t a number we see often. The real story is the dual BCMA/GPRC5D doublet truly emerging as SOC in early relapse Grateful to the entire MonumenTAL-6 team. This was a true group effort, and I’m proud to have an opportunity to help advance this amazing therapy for our patients.
