“First Delhi CAR-T Summit.
The Medical Team and as a Medical Advisor in cellular therapy, ImmunoACT, shaping the summit from concept to execution-defining the unmet clinical questions, engaging and aligning multidisciplinary stakeholders and designing a clinically relevant academic experience for participating HCPs was deeply inspiring.
The intent was not to create another conventional conference. It was to build a rigorous clinical experience based platform where the realities of CAR-T delivery could be examined beyond trial efficacy alone.
The summit brought together a cross-institutional consortium of haematologists, medical oncologists, transfusion-medicine specialists from cellular-therapy teams․

With more than 750 patients treated across India, the discussions focused on the decisions that ultimately determine whether a patient reaches infusion and derives durable benefit.
The scientific programme addressed:
- Real-world efficacy, safety, resource utilisation and manufacturing efficiency in B-ALL and B-NHL
- The evolving position of CAR-T within treatment sequencing
- Referral timing and the distinction between eligibility and successful infusion
- Pre-apheresis optimisation and preservation of T-cell fitness
- Disease-burden reduction and rational bridging strategies
- Pre-infusion infection, organ-function and inflammatory-risk assessment
- Toxicity preparedness, relapse surveillance and long-term durability
I am grateful to every speaker, moderator, panellist and participating physician who contributed to an academically rigorous and clinically honest discussion.
A key conclusion was clear: CAR-T is not a single-day infusion. It is a longitudinal, multidisciplinary clinical pathway.
I would be keen to connect with colleagues working in CAR-T patient selection, T-cell fitness, bridging therapy, toxicity prediction, real-world evidence and cellular-therapy implementation science.”
