Introducing the Chair of the Editorial Board of the OncoDaily Medical Journal

We proudly announce Dr. Matti Aapro as the Chair of the Editorial Board for OncoDaily Medical Journal.

Dr. Aapro, Past-President of the European Cancer Organisation (ECO), brings his extensive expertise to this role. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Genolier Cancer Center in Switzerland and earned his medical degree from the University of Geneva.

As a dedicated leader in oncology education and advocacy, Dr. Aapro holds an Executive Board position at the European School of Oncology (ESO) and leads the Sharing Progress in Cancer Care (SPCC) association. He has held prominent roles with the International Society for Geriatric Oncology (SIOG) and the Multinational Association for Supportive Care in Cancer (MASCC).

Additionally, he serves as Honorary Editor of Critical Reviews in Oncology/Hematology and is the founding editor of the Journal of Geriatric Oncology. His numerous accolades include Doctor Honoris Causa of the University of Tampere, the 2012 ASCO B.J. Kennedy Prize, and the MASCC Distinguished Services Award.
