£63,169 to the ICR from the Dave Day ride out in tribute to Dave Myers

The Institute of Cancer Research (ICR) shared on LinkedIn:

“We’re so delighted to share that following the incredible Dave Day tribute to Dave Myers from Hairy Bikers, we have received an incredible £63,169.

Over 45,000 motorcyclists took to the road, riding from London to Barrow-in-Furness while being cheered on by thousands of supporters to mark Dave Day.

We feel so honoured to have been chosen as one of the beneficiaries alongside the important work of the NSPCC Childline service.

Thank you to everyone who participated, donated, and supported Dave Day – the money raised will support our research to make the discoveries that defeat cancer and help save more lives. ”
