โDay 3 at the 56th SIOP Congress in Honolulu:ย Insights from Psycho-Oncology.
As we wrap up the third day of the International Society of Pediatric Oncology (SIOP) Congress, Iโm excited to share some highlights from todayโs psycho-oncology session. This congress continues to be an incredible platform for knowledge exchange and collaboration in pediatric oncology.
Todayโs session featured three outstanding interventional studies presented by talented researchers: Lamoa Baraket, Lucia Fuentes and Louisa Rygh, Samantha Bento, and Bobbie Riley.
I want to extend my heartfelt congratulations to these presenters for their invaluable contributions to the field. Their work reminds us of the critical importance of psycho-oncology in holistic cancer care.
Reflecting on these presentations, ย Itโs essential to thoroughly explain:
1. The theoretical foundations underpinning the intervention
2. The specific components of the intervention
3. The model used for both constructing and evaluating the intervention
By providing this comprehensive context, researchers not only enhance the credibility of their work but also facilitate better understanding and potential replication of successful interventions.
As we continue to advance in the field of pediatric oncology, letโs remember that robust methodology in psycho-oncological interventions is key to improving patient outcomes and quality of life.
Looking forward to the final day of SIOP 2024 tomorrow and the wealth of knowledge yet to be shared!โ
