“Talk on ‘Breast oncoplasty – elevating outcomes, expanding options’
I had a great time discussing oncoplastic breast surgery with a group of oncologists and surgeons at the BREAST CANCON 2025 conducted at the Regional Cancer Centre, Thiruvananthapuram on 26th October 2025.
Starting off with wholesome talks on breast imaging and pathology, navigating through surgery for the primary and the axilla, coursing through radiation and systemic therapy, to end in a panel discussion that perfectly summed it all up.
How do we tackle the most common cancer worldwide?
One way is to share knowledge, educate and encourage peers. When more patients get diagnosed with breast cancer every year, let’s get more doctors on our team… to deliver the best possible outcome.
If cancer strengthens its hold, we strengthen our team.
