Michele Kenner: Busy Lung Cancer Action Week

Douglas Flora shared a post by  on LinkedIn:

“To quote one of my healthcare idols here Marc Harrison, we are making RELENTLESS PROGRESS here in The Common wealth against lung cancer.

Number two in the country for lung cancer screening and just getting started. Almost everyone in our screening panels is now being found at a stage one or stage two with a real hope for cure because of the work of these dedicated teams here.”

“It was a busy Lung Cancer Action Week at St. Elizabeth Healthcare! Thank you Amber Smith and the American Lung Association for being RIGHT HERE with us to fight lung cancer. The week started with Amber in our Cancer Resource Center sharing information on Lung Cancer and tobacco cessation. Dwinelva Zackery‘s team helped arrange two yoga classes focused on breath. Lisa Ackley helped secure St. Elizabeth t-shirts for our turquoise takeover and Dr. Douglas Flora, MD, LSSBB, FACCC presented AI in Healthcare and Lung Cancer Screening. Special thanks to Trish Boh, PACE for all she did to promote all the activities taking place and our Marketing Team for the digital signage.”
