Roberta Lombardi: This is what is wrong with our system
Roberta Lombardi, Founder of Infinite Strength, shared on X:
“This is an example of reality for our applicants. In Georgia, a woman with Metastatic Breast Cancer (MBC) cannot work due to treatment side effects. She missed two months of rent and then she found Infinite Strength. We approved her and began assistance this month.
But in the meantime her landlord already started eviction proceedings. Furthermore, they will not accept our check each month for rent since we are making partial payments.
They refuse our help and want to send our checks back instead of getting partial payment and letting this woman and her two kids stay in their home.
She and her kids have NOBODY! This is what is wrong with our system…her landlord does not care that she has metastatic breast cancer. What is wrong with humanity? Disgusted!”
