“We’re honoured to be chosen as one of two charities that will benefit from a fundraising motorbike ride in tribute to the beloved Dave Myers from The Hairy Bikers.

Dave very sadly died from cancer in February this year and his wife, Liliana, chose The Institute of Cancer Research (ICR) and Childline as the two beneficiaries of a ‘Dave Day’ ride out.

The ride, which is being organised by volunteers, is on 8 June and goes from London to Dave’s hometown of Barrow-in-Furness.
