Wafik El-Deiry Raises Concern about a potential delay in appointing a new Director for the National Cancer Institute

Wafik S El-Deiry, Associate Dean for Oncologic Sciences at the Warren Alpert Medical School and Director of the Legorreta Cancer Center at Brown University, shared a post on LinkedIn:

“It is disappointing and very concerning to read there may be a purposeful delay in appointing an NCI Director to strongly advocate for preserving and enhancing the National Cancer Institute (NCI)’s vital role in the war on cancer. It’s too important.”
