Venkatraman Radhakrishnan: CTRT in locally advanced inoperable breast cancer
Venkatraman Radhakrishnan, Professor and Head of the Department of Medical Oncology at the Adyar Cancer Institute, shared on X/Twitter:
“Concurrent chemoradiation (CTRT) is SOC in many cancers. Why not in breast cancer?
We show that CTRT in locally advanced inoperable breast cancer increases operability, increases path CR, no increased toxicity, reduces treatment time.”
