Be ambitious for patients, accountable for impact and do the right thing – Court Horncastle
It’s a rainy Sunday. I’m causally, almost aimlessly, scrolling LinkedIn and I’m struck by how the majority of posts from commercial leaders, at least on my feed, have so little to do with winning commercially.
I know the posters, the companies and industries they work in….and I know they care deeply, and are driven, to compete and win commercially. Their primary responsibility, as a commercial leader, is to achieve the org’s commercial objectives. I know that. They know that.
Winning commercially matters. Be proud of that. It’s OK. It’s not just desirable….it’s the core responsibility of a commercial leader because peers, shareholders and, yes, patients are counting on you to win.
Winning the right way matters even more.
Be ambitious for patients, accountable for impact and do the right thing.
