Dr. Rachna Shroff is an expert in gastrointestinal cancers, with a focus on pancreatic and hepatobiliary malignancies. She serves as Chief of the Division of Hematology and Oncology and Associate Director of Clinical Investigations at the University of Arizona Cancer Center, where she serves as Professor of Medicine and Associate Dean for Clinical and Translational Research.
Widely known for her leadership in clinical and translational research, Dr. Shroff has pioneered studies that have shaped emerging standards of care in biliary tract cancers. A former faculty member at MD Anderson Cancer Center, she now serves as Chair of the ASCO GI Cancers Symposium 2024 and sits on several national boards, including the ASCO Nominating Committee and the Cholangiocarcinoma Foundation’s Scientific and Medical Advisory Board.
