Dr. Jasmine Kamboj is a board-certified hematologist and medical oncologist whose clinical practice is grounded in a deeply patient-centered philosophy. She believes that every individual is a human being first before being a cancer patient, and she is committed to tailoring treatment to the biological characteristics of disease as well as to the physical, emotional, mental, and social well-being of each person. Her guiding mantra—treat every patient as you would treat your own family—shapes her approach to comprehensive cancer care.
An outspoken advocate for cancer-related issues, Dr. Kamboj is an active volunteer with the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) and has been recognized with the prestigious Fellow of the American Society of Clinical Oncology (FASCO) distinction for her exceptional dedication and service. She was named Advocate of the Year in 2021 and received the Yvonne Award for Community Oncology, honoring her leadership and impact in community cancer care. In August 2025, she was selected as one of OncoDaily’s 100 Influential Women in Oncology, reflecting her national and international contributions to oncology advocacy.
Dr. Kamboj previously practiced at Sanford Health in Bemidji, Minnesota, and Allina Health, serving patients across Minnesota and Wisconsin. Her clinical interests span a broad spectrum of solid tumors, including breast, colon, lung, and prostate cancers.
She earned her medical degree from the Armed Forces Medical College and completed internal medicine residencies at Mount Sinai Hospital and the Captain James A. Lovell Federal Health Care Center. She then pursued fellowship training in Hematology and Oncology at Baylor College of Medicine. Dr. Kamboj is triple board-certified in Internal Medicine, Hematology, and Medical Oncology by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
Dr. Kamboj resides in St. Paul, Minnesota, with her husband, son, and rabbit. Outside of medicine, she enjoys traveling with her family and exploring new experiences.
