Dr. Chandler Park is a nationally recognized triple board–certified physician in Medical Oncology, Hematology, and Internal Medicine, with a distinguished career spanning clinical care, medical education, guideline development, and oncology policy. He currently practices as a medical oncologist and hematologist at Norton Healthcare, while serving in multiple national leadership and advisory roles that shape oncology education and standards of care across the United States.
Dr. Park is deeply engaged with the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO), where he has served for nearly a decade in multiple capacities. He is a Kentucky Physician Representative to the ASCO State Executive Council, acting as a voting member who identifies unmet clinical and policy needs, provides direct feedback to the ASCO Board of Directors, and disseminates ASCO’s public policy priorities at the state level. In addition, he is an Expert Reviewer and Content Writer for ASCO CME, where he reviews and curates up-to-date cancer education materials and develops board-style questions across solid tumors and malignant hematology to support oncologists in maintaining certification.
Dr. Park also serves as a Medical Oncology Board Examiner for the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM), contributing to the development of new examination questions for board certification and recertification in medical oncology—an essential role influencing the evaluation standards for oncologists nationwide.
His national influence extends to guideline and precision oncology efforts. Dr. Park is the Kentucky Medical Oncologist Representative to the National Comprehensive Cancer Network (NCCN), collaborating with NCCN leadership to address guideline-related issues relevant to physicians, patients, and healthcare systems. He is also a national member of the Caris Life Sciences Molecular Tumor Board, where he provides evidence-based treatment recommendations based on next-generation sequencing data for complex oncology cases across the United States.
A committed advocate and educator, Dr. Park is the Kentucky Physician Representative for the American Society of Hematology (ASH), engaging with U.S. Senators and members of Congress on policy issues affecting patients with leukemia, lymphoma, myeloma, and sickle cell disease. He additionally volunteers as a Board Member of the Kentucky and Southern Indiana Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, supporting patient advocacy and community outreach.
