Dr. Aparna Parikh is a globally recognized gastrointestinal oncologist and Director of the Global Cancer Care Program at Massachusetts General Hospital Cancer Center. She is best known for her pioneering work at the intersection of cancer innovation and global health equity, with a focus on colorectal and pancreatic cancers.

Dr. Parikh co-founded POETIC, a global oncology fellowship that trains clinicians from Sub-Saharan Africa at Harvard-affiliated centers to strengthen cancer care in underserved regions.

A leader in translational research, Dr. Parikh directs liquid biopsy initiatives within GI Oncology at MGH and is a member of the NCCN Colorectal Cancer Guidelines Panel. Her work focuses on young adults with colorectal cancer, novel therapeutic development, and advancing precision medicine tools for treatment monitoring and resistance profiling.
