Education & Training

Dr. Puccini graduated with honors in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Genoa in 2016. He completed his specialization in Medical Oncology in 2023 under the mentorship of Professor Alberto Sobrero.

His early involvement in research began during medical school, when he participated in a supplementary oncology research training program at the University of Genoa. This experience led to a postdoctoral fellowship (2017–2018) at the Norris Comprehensive Cancer Center, University of Southern California, in the laboratory of Professor Heinz-Josef Lenz, where he focused on translational and clinical research in gastrointestinal cancers.
