“At COMy Congress I laid out my view on what the word Cure should mean in myeloma (and in cancer).

It’s easy to redefine cure and make it easier to attain. But we shouldn’t. More here.

I’m pleased that there are multiple randomized trials which have finite duration of therapy in the newly diagnosed setting.

I’m also pleased with the fact that we have launched trials with curative intent.

More on how we define cure. We know we are curing a disease when you see curves like you do with DLBCL and Hodgkins.”
