Concomitant PPIs and capecitabine-based chemoradiotherapy in rectal cancer
Erman Akkus, Medical Oncology Fellow at Ankara University, shared a post on X about a recent paper by M. Bridoux et al. published in ESMO GI Oncology:
“Concomitant PPI and capecitabine-based CRT in rectal cancer (data from PRODIGE-23):
- No statistical significant association in survival and pathological response
- 38 patients in PPI group, numerically worse survival tendency.”
