Hospital La Fe de Valencia has joined OncoSwab’s clinical trials
Andrea Stephany Diaz, Co-Founder and CEO of OncoSwab, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“We’re happy to announce Hospital La Fe de Valencia, one of Spain’s Top 10 hospitals and a Top 200 hospital worldwide, has joined OncoSwab’s clinical trials.
The research, led by Thoracic Surgeon Alilis Fontana, will ensure access to real-world patients with suspicious pulmonary nodules and will contribute valuable data to validate the accuracy of OncoSwab’s non-invasive lung cancer test.
We are honored to collaborate with Hospital La Fe and Dr. Fontana in advancing early lung cancer detection.
Together, we aim to improve diagnostic pathways and provide better outcomes for patients. Stay tuned as we continue to expand our clinical trial network across Europe and the US!”
What is OncoSwab?
OncoSwab is transforming lung cancer detection by making early diagnosis accessible through a non-invasive, easy-to-use test. With 75% of lung cancer cases diagnosed too late for effective treatment, OncoSwab’s mission is to change that by enabling earlier, more accurate detection.
Founded by visionary scientists and backed by the Health Wildcatters Accelerator, the Swiss Government’s DayOne Tech, and key pre-seed investors, OncoSwab is currently conducting a proof-of-concept trial in collaboration with leading hospitals and experts in the US and Europe.
With offices in San Francisco and Corroux, Switzerland, OncoSwab is on track to revolutionize cancer care and save lives worldwide.
