Farah Tarek Shaalan: Knowledge and attitude toward cancer clinical trials in the Middle East and North Africa
Farah Tarek Shaalan, Medical Oncology Resident at National Cancer Institute – Cairo University, shared a post on LinkedIn about a paper she co-authored with colleagues published in ESMO Open:
“Thrilled to share my first – hopefully not the last – publication!
I’m beyond happy to see our cross-sectional study published in ESMO Open, following its presentation as a poster at ESMO. This research represents a step forward in understanding Knowledge and attitude toward cancer clinical trials in the Middle East and North Africa.
A multicenter cross-sectional study of 5,422 participants, and I’m incredibly grateful to everyone who contributed to making this possible.
A huge thank you to my mentors, colleagues, and everyone who supported this journey. Looking forward to many more contributions to the field of oncology!”
