“Thank you to my family who have supported me along my entire 28 year journey with ASCO and especially this past year!
And as written by my non oncologist daughter I love the fact that her summary is spot on in identifying our Society mission and commitment to patient care and early career professional development.”

“I had a wonderful weekend attending the 2025 ASCO Annual Meeting, alongside my family to support my mom, Dr. Robin Zon as acting President of ASCO.
I had the privilege of attending the Board of Directors Dinner, Presidents Dinner, and the Annual Meeting. These events highlighted ASCOs dedication to leadership development among young oncologists, adapting to rapid technological advances, and above all else, the dedication of its members to patient care.
Dr. Zon’s presidential theme, “Driving Knowledge to Action: Building a Better Future” specifically focused on using cutting edge technology alongside physician expertise to better outcomes for patients and optimize physician productivity, advocating for patients, and providing care across all communities, including the most remote of places, so that all patients can have equal access to the highest quality care.
I am immensely proud of the work my mom has done throughout her career as an oncologist, this past year as ASCO President, and will continue to do for our communities and all patients!”
