Thomas Hope: If you thought PSMA PET always led to stage migration, you might want to think again.
Quoting Thomas Hope, the Vice Chair of Clinical Operations and Strategy in the Department of Radiology at the University of California, San Francisco, on Twitter/X:
“If you thought (Prostate-specific membrane antigen) PSMA PET always led to stage migration, you might want to think again. At initial staging over half of patients with bone mets on bone scan were negative on PSMA PET. Sometimes increased accuracy leads to fewer mets! Check it out from JNM:”
