Nataliya Kovalchuk: Help Ukraine Group is enabling many of the successful projects of supporting cancer care in Ukraine during the war
Nataliya Kovalchuk, Clinical Associate Professor at Stanford University School of Medicine/Stanford Hospital, shared on LinkedIn:
“On the second anniversary of Help Ukraine Group (HUG), we are highlighting HUG’s founders and tireless volunteers enabling many of the successful projects of supporting cancer care in Ukraine during the war.
Andriy Beznosenko, co-founder of HUG, instigated the project of observerships abroad for Ukrainian oncology professionals. In 2 years of HUG’s existence, we have successfully organized observerships for 49 medical practitioners in the leading hospitals of US/Canada/Australia.
We are continuing collaborations with our partners Global Medical Knowledge Alliance and Peace and Development Foundation to improve cancer care in Ukraine through training abroad. Thank you, Dr. Beznosenko, for all your invaluable contributions to this project.”
