- Global estimate of 78,299 cases, 60,602 deaths, and 2.90 million DALYs
- The incidence increased in more than half of countries worldwide
- Every 1 out of 8 deaths because of liver cancer is in youngsters
- Significant decline in primary liver cancer mortality due to most etiologies
- Except steatotic liver disease and alcohol-attributable primary liver cancer
- Calls for the development of urgent and comprehensive strategies!”
